PDF vs CAD Explained
We offer house plans in two formats: PDF (easiest and fastest—email delivery, easy printing and viewing) or CAD (DWG files for extensive modifications, requires CAD software). Both formats include a Copyright Release allowing you to modify the plans and make copies to build one house. Building the same plan more than once requires a separate re-use license—contact us for details.

Alder Glen House Plan: Room for Everyday Life and Future Projects
Alder Glen gives an active household space to gather, work and pursue its interests. Timber-detailed porches introduce this modern farmhouse plan, while the open kitchen, dining area and great room keep cooking and conversation connected. A generous island provides a central gathering place, and the prep kitchen keeps supplies and meal preparation close.
The front office offers a separate place for focused work or creative projects. Three bedrooms sit on the main level, with a Jack and Jill bathroom connecting the secondary bedrooms and a powder room available for guests. The laundry and two-car garage support the routines of a busy day.
Stairs lead to 286 square feet of future bonus space above the garage. This unfinished area is separate from the plan's 2,185 square feet of finished living space and offers potential for a hobby room, media room or games area when finished. Covered porches provide another place to unwind after the day's activities.

Our plans include everything you need to build your dream home. Depending on your location, you may need additional items like structural engineering reviews or energy calculations—your builder can advise on local requirements. Most plans are ready for immediate delivery (within 1 business day), though plans with options like foundation options or material lists may take 10-14 business days. This NO RETURN policy covers all formats that house plans are sold in, PDF and CAD. Because our plans are copyrighted and registered to the purchaser, we cannot allow refunds.
